I am Martina Šenica, a graduate of College of visual art School in Ljubljana in 2010. I work as a freelance artist. I create everything, but for the last few years I have been working as an illustrator and painter of women's bodies, realistic and also abstract images, black and white and color shades.
I create with watercolors and acrylics, pastels, pencils and charcoal.
My women's paintings are like a kind of reminder and expression of pain, acceptance, perception, and encouragement for myself and for others and as unique souls, characters, and various life experiences. I have been interested in figurines since some ugly past experience.
That affected me as my perception of the world and especially myself. Through painting, I faced certain fears and hardships and began to perceive myself again and in a new way, and above all to accept mistakes and learn why and who I am.
